I have a Logitech G headset which i like very much and for my niece i bought this week the Razer Kraken USB ans she says it has really good sound so.

I have used the Medusa 5.1 for years m8, powered by USB, separate controls for front, middle and rear, plugs direct into soundcard or onboard via separate coloured plugs, none of this all through USB or single jack nonsense. Will post a link once I get on my PC.
